Highlights from Our 2024 Sustainability Report

Decarbonization Strategy

As part of our decarbonization strategy, we conducted clean energy feasibility studies to advance our Scope 1 and 2 GHG emission goals. Additionally, we implemented our Scope 3 management and tracking initiatives to integrate emissions management into our procurement and operations practices.

Product Carbon Footprint

Following a pilot program, we implemented a product carbon footprint (PCF) platform across our portfolio of plastics and latex binders solutions. Our PCF tool provides a scientific lens to fully understand the carbon footprint of our solutions, enabling comparison between virgin materials and our sustainably advantaged solutions.

Circular Solutions

In 2023, we made a significant investment in our circular solutions by announcing the inauguration of our polycarbonate (PC) dissolution pilot facility in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, and broke ground on our next generation polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) depolymerization plant in Rho, Italy. Together, these facilities will help support our customers in developing circular solutions and expand the waste streams that can be recycled.
