Our specialty compounds assist in ergonomic design and enhance many parts of the device, from inside components to transparent windows and outer casings. We work with you to develop materials that maintain mechanical integrity while providing the best functionality, appearance, and acceptance. Our experts customize grades to exhibit the properties you require – such as biocompatibility, skin- and food-contact safety, high impact resistance, Radiation and Ethylene Oxide sterilization resistance, or low residual monomer and oligomer levels.

We offer wear-resistant grades to prevent abrasion from movable plastic parts. These materials rely on a range of lubricants, additives, and other reinforcements including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone, glass filler, and color pigments. Our advanced polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) resins excel in applications that require exceptional clarity, lipid and plasticizer resistance, and the ability to be UV and e-beam sterilized.

With our rigid portfolio, in addition to our medical grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) materials, we can enhance a device with attractive overlays that are pleasing to the touch or offer non-slip grips for added safety.
