Volunteerism
Trinseo’s volunteer program stems from the belief that improving our world extends beyond our core business. Through a wide variety of community activities, Trinseo employees come together and volunteer to make a positive impact at sites around the world. We are committed to making a difference in the places where our employees work and live.
Environmental stewardship, STEM education and community involvement are key focus areas for volunteering. In 2014, Trinseo expanded its volunteer activities by establishing Volunteer Days, a company-wide program to mobilize employee engagement in their local communities.
Volunteer Days
Since 2014, more than 20 Trinseo sites around the world have participated in Volunteer Days, our annual employee-driven volunteer program, collectively logging more than 13,770 hours of service.
During Volunteer Days every June, employees at participating Trinseo sites select a volunteer project focused on improving the local community, environment, or education. Then the team rolls up their sleeves and gets to work. Past activities have included, but are not limited to:
